Personal Letter
Dear Resident of Jerusalem,
Jerusalem is our home, the beating heart of the Jewish People and the State of Israel for generations. The strength of Jerusalem and its vigor have radiated for thousands of years to the Jewish People worldwide.
On November 11, 2008, we shall all face one of the most important tests for the future of Jerusalem. I am asking for your vote of confidence and support of me in the upcoming elections for the position of Mayor of Jerusalem.
As a son of the city, who spent my whole life here raising my family and conducting my business here, I feel that we are at a most significant juncture in determining the future of our city.
I believe with all my heart that Jerusalem deserves more: more education, more housing, more employment, more cleanliness, and also more culture and leisure. A thriving, successful Jerusalem is not a dream. It depends on us, on each and every one of us. It is near and it is possible. All it takes is a few moments of your time on Election Day. Together we can act to replace the leadership of the city and change its failing policy. Only by voting for change will we be able to determine how the next five years of our lives will look and finally realize the latent potential of this great city.
We all want a different Jerusalem – a revitalized and beautiful Jerusalem. The time for our Jerusalem has come!
Join me in realizing this vision with your support of me and my party in the coming elections. Together we shall build Jerusalem. It can be done!
